Instantia
21 September –  Saturday 15 October 2011
Instantia showcases a diverse collection of images by the MA Photography graduates of the University of West London. The show explores a variety of topics including political, religious and emotional themes. Utilising a range of creative and critical approaches, the group aims to test the boundaries of the contemporary photographic medium.

Intelligent and thought provoking, the body of work brings to light and questions elements of visual culture and perceived reality.

Root to the Fruit 2011
Saturday 22 October – Saturday 12 November

Root to the Fruit is an intergenerational Heritage Lottery funded project exploring and documenting the contributions from London's African-Caribbean community elders. Young people from local groups have worked over the past year with local artists and the Black Cultural Archives to document stories from the pioneering elders experiences of  ‘back home’ and early memories of London.

This exciting exhibition shows a variety of collaborative projects with young people, archivists and local artists, archive material, a DVD of the project, a website and other works inspired by the project.
