Health and Adult Social Services Standing Scrutiny Panel
The main purpose of this Panel is to:
(i) review and scrutinise the planning, management,
provision and performance of adult social services;
(ii) review and scrutinise matters relating to the
health service in the authority's area and to make reports and
recommendations on such matters to the relevant NHS bodies in
accordance with the powers given to the local authority by the
Health and Social Care Act 2001; and
(iii) consider and make recommendations for response to
NHS consultations on proposed substantial developments/variations
in health services that would affect the people of LB Ealing.
